Civil Engineering Faculty Positions at Antalya International University (pdf)
Antalya International University (AIU) in Turkey invites applications for multiple faculty positions in all areas of civil engineering. Priority will be given to the candidates in areas of structural engineering and geotechnical engineering. The positions are anticipated to be filled at the lecturer, assistant professor rank, however, appointments at associate and full professor levels might be considered as well.
The targeted start date for the positions is September 1, 2017. Applications from women, minorities, and non-Turkish citizens are also encouraged. The successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the structural engineering and geotechnical engineering fields of civil engineering, develop sponsored research programs, advice and mentor students at the undergraduate and the graduate levels, collaborate with other faculty in multidisciplinary research, interact and participate in outreach activities, and be involved in service to the institute and the profession. The successful applicant must have earned a Ph.D. degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, and should have an excellent command of English. Applicants must have evidence of scholarship/research and record of external funding for research for consideration of appointment at the associate or full professor level.
